The Phoenix Singers
Saturday 17th July 2010 - All Saints' Church Leek
An exciting concert that will include The Phoenix Singers, Young Phoenix and a specially formed community
choir in a new work commissioned from composer Barry Russell with funding from a BBC Choral Ambition award.
Also The Phoenix Singers will perform Ashley Thompson's reworking of Vivaldi's Gloria.
Originally written as a millenium project celebrating the past, the future and two thousand years of
Christendom, this new Gloria takes the original work and reworks it into a contemporary idiom.
Saturday 16th October 2010 - Victoria Hall Hanley
We are pleased to have been invited to join with The Ceramic City Choir in Mendelssohn's Elijah.
Following the well received Verdi Requiem last year this concert should again prove a memorable
performance.
Saturday 11th December 2010 - All Saints' Church Leek
A Christmas Concert with our friend the well known west country folk singer/songwriter Johnny Coppin.
